Every invoice keeps the photo or PDF it was read from. Checking a line against the original is the quickest way to tell whether Maitaki misread something or the vendor really charged it.
On a phone
- Open the invoice from Purchases → Invoices or the Inbox.
- Tap Source at the top of the invoice card, next to Edit.
A photo opens full screen, as wide as your screen. Scroll to see the whole page, and tap ✕ to close. A PDF opens in a viewer where you can scroll through the pages. To open it in your browser instead, tap the button with the arrow, next to ✕.
On a computer
The original sits to the left of the invoice, so you can read both while you review. Under it you’ll see Source document · click to open full size.
- For a photo, click it to open it full size in a new tab.
- For a PDF, click Open PDF.
Reading a line against the paper? Keep the original open on a computer while you go through the lines, or switch between Source and the invoice on a phone. The description printed on the paper often shows the pack, like 6/1 GAL.
Common questions
I don't see Source.
The invoice may have been created without a file, so there’s nothing to show. On a computer, look to the left of the invoice instead: there’s no Source button there.
The PDF viewer won't load.
You’ll see Couldn’t load the PDF viewer. Tap Open in browser instead to view the file in your browser.
The photo is too blurry to read.
Compare with the paper invoice if you still have it. If the photo can’t be read, the lines probably weren’t read well either. See Fix an upload that failed or got stuck.
