Questions
What counts as a document?
A document is anything you send us to read: an invoice, a recipe card, an order guide, a menu. Several photos of the same invoice count once, and anything we misread and you correct does not count again.
Is 50 a month enough?
For a single kitchen, comfortably. Most of what you send month to month is invoices, and recipes only trickle in as the menu changes. Setting up is the heavy part, which is why the first month is 100 — enough to get your binder and a month of deliveries in before you settle into a rhythm.
What is a digest?
A summary Maitaki AI posts into your team chat on a schedule you set: daily, weekly, bi-weekly or monthly. Base includes four, so you might run a daily cost check for the kitchen and a monthly one for yourself.
What if I need more?
Ask us. Tell us roughly what you get through in a month and we'll set it up to match — no forms and no sales call. Nothing on Base upgrades itself and there is no overage meter running in the background.
What happens when the founding price ends?
Nothing, for you. New customers will pay $200; you keep $150 for as long as your account stays active.
What if I cancel and come back later?
You'd rejoin at whatever the price is then. Keeping the founding rate means keeping the account — that's the only catch, and we'd rather say it here than bury it.
Is there a setup fee, or a contract?
Neither. Month to month, cancel whenever — the price is the price and there is nothing to sign.
Are my recipes mine?
Completely. They're never used to train shared models and never shown to another restaurant.
